    Innovative Ferroli Thermobalance thermal group in its 5 elements

    Ferroli has oriented the design of the Bluehelix TECH RRT combustion cell and exchanger to maximize their functional advantages and construction robustness, as well as ease of maintenance: the single-circuit design ensures that any air bubbles in the system do not remain trapped in the exchanger, and makes cleaning with chemical washing as easy as possible, unlike spiral exchangers with a double parallel circuit (more common) in which if only one of the circuits becomes blocked, chemical washing becomes much more laborious.


    The engine

    The tube that makes up the BLUEHELIX TECH RRT exchanger is made of AISI 304 stainless steel, a material that allows for the creation of an extremely smooth surface, therefore less susceptible to scaling agents and deposits.

    Silence at its best

    The meticulous design of the BLUEHELIX TECH RRT has achieved significant levels of silence and acoustic comfort, so much so that it's almost difficult to distinguish the background noise in a home from the noise produced by the boiler during full operation. The boiler's on/off transients have also been optimized for acoustic comfort, so customers no longer have to worry about knowing whether the boiler is on or off based on its noise, as was the case with older generations of boilers. The design was also carefully considered, with a sophisticated casing in three removable pieces that extends to cover the pipe connections.


    Hassle-free maintenance

    Upon initial maintenance, the technician can appreciate the care with which every detail has been designed to facilitate their work. Thanks to maximum accessibility of the main components, the "Thermobalance"™ thermal unit allows maintenance to be performed with maximum precision and speed. Some examples: - Internal accessibility is facilitated by the three-piece casing with removable side panels.

    - The electronic board's electrical box can be easily removed from the chassis and hooked onto the side, allowing free access to the internal parts.
    - The fan, offset from the burner and placed underneath, does not need to be dismantled to access the steel burner-exchanger group.
    - The burner door is completely self-cooled by air and therefore does not require an insulating panel, avoiding the risk of it being damaged or broken during disassembly for cleaning.
    - The burner can be dismantled by loosening just 3 bolts, leaving free access to the stainless steel exchanger.
    - The extra-large passage heat exchanger is designed to challenge the hardest waters and is easily cleanable thanks to the single-tube, non-collector circuit.
    - The domestic water inlet filter can be removed extremely easily directly from the inside without having to remove the boiler's hydraulic connections.
    - The possible dismantling and replacement of the plate exchanger is done simply by removing two Allen bolts accessible from the front


    Functions:

    Stop and Go: When using mixer taps, short or very short bursts of water for quick rinses trigger the boiler ignition process, which usually ends immediately. Persistent false starts can, over time, compromise the product's lifespan. For this reason, BLUEHELIX TECH RRT provides an electronics parameter that can delay burner ignition (Stop and Go), activating it only when domestic hot water is actually drawn.


    sun easySun Easy: BLUEHELIX TECH RRT was designed to be easily integrated into systems using the latest technologies. The SUN EASY system uses electronics that simplify pairing with both natural and forced circulation solar panels. A sensor located on the domestic hot water circuit continuously monitors the temperature of the water preheated by the solar panels, activating the burner only if the water temperature drops below the level required for optimal comfort.


    ecoEco domestic hot water comfort: In ECO mode, domestic hot water production occurs according to traditional standards, allowing for energy savings during periods of non-use. In COMFORT mode, thanks to the special heat exchanger temperature maintenance system, domestic hot water delivery becomes even faster and more comfortable. Achieving maximum comfort certified as 3 stars (EN 13203). Efficiency and load profiles according to the ErP directive are at the top of the category: mod. 24 C / A - XL | mod. 34 C / A - XXL

    Outdoor installation, anti-freeze function: To maximize available space, the new BLUEHELIX TECH RRT 24C boiler can be installed flush with the wall using a special kit. For more critical installations, in completely uncovered spaces not protected from the elements, a "painted cabinet" kit is also available. If the boiler temperature drops to 5°C, the burner automatically ignites and the circulator activates to protect the appliance from frost damage. This function is active when the boiler is powered by the gas circuit and connected to the mains.
