This range of generators is equipped with the proven stainless steel primary exchanger and a 50-liter stainless steel domestic hot water tank. Designed and built according to the new ErP directives for eco-friendly design and labeling, the BLUEHELIX TOP RRT K 50 is at the top of its category. The BLUEHELIX TOP RRT K 50 achieves one of the highest energy efficiency ratings for space heating in the boiler category: ηs 94% (ErP Class A, scale from G to A++). Furthermore, when combined with the external probe and the Romeo remote timer control or the new Connect control, it achieves system energy class A+ (scale from G to A+++).

The heat exchanger of the THERMOBALANCE™ thermal unit of the BLUEHELIX TOP RRT K 50 (fig. A) compared to the more classic and widespread steel exchanger (fig. B), abandoned in favor of the evolution towards the primary steel exchanger used in the Bluehelix models (2012 -> ). This geometry allows the heat exchanger of the THERMOBALANCE thermal unit to operate at almost maximum design efficiency even in conditions of partial clogging, while with the same quantity of deposits and sediments (e.g. due to installation on old systems) the exchanger in fig. B tends to clog much more quickly in the part in contact with the flame due to the reduced fluid passage area, in which a real barrier of deposits * is formed which hinder heat exchange and reduce efficiency below nominal values.

INNOVATIVE FERROLI THERMOBALANCE TM HEATING UNIT IN ITS 5 ELEMENTS

Ferroli has oriented the design of the combustion cell and the BLUEHELIX TOP RRT K 50 exchanger in order to maximize their functional advantages and construction robustness, as well as ease of maintenance: the single-circuit design ensures that any air bubbles in the system do not remain trapped in the exchanger, and makes cleaning with chemical washing as easy as possible, unlike spiral exchangers with a double parallel circuit (more common) in which if only one of the circuits becomes blocked, chemical washing becomes much more laborious.

    THE ENGINE

The tube that makes up the BLUEHELIX TOP RRT K 50 exchanger is made of stainless steel, a material that allows for the creation of an extremely smooth surface, therefore less susceptible to scaling agents and deposits.

    TOP SILENCE

The meticulous design of the BLUEHELIX TOP RRT K 50 has achieved significant levels of silence and acoustic comfort, so much so that it is almost difficult to distinguish the background noise in a home from the noise produced by the boiler during full operation. The boiler's on/off transients have also been optimized for acoustic comfort, so customers will no longer have to worry about knowing whether the boiler is on or off based on its noise, as was the case with older generations of boilers. The design was also carefully considered, with a refined casing in three removable pieces that descends to cover the pipe connections.

    BOILER CONTROL

The control and management electronics allow the user to customize the appliance's operation to manage environmental comfort according to their needs. The keypad and simple LCD display make programming hot water production extremely easy and intuitive, both for domestic hot water and heating. Thanks to the remote bus connection, this can also be done directly from the remote control. The circuit board is protected by a fuse easily accessible through a dedicated cover, and the electrical connections are made in a robust, large box with easily accessible connectors and numerous cable ties. The boiler is also designed to connect a second room thermostat to dedicated terminals to manage multi-zone mixing systems.
