SMISOL® Clim was born from close collaboration between manufacturer and customer, to meet the needs of a market increasingly attentive to technological solutions capable of fully satisfying the technical requirements of the air conditioning sector, maintaining an excellent quality/price ratio.
It is a copper tube produced according to the EN 12735-1 standard, pre-insulated with closed-cell polyethylene foam according to EN ISO 1578 and distributed in 50 m rolls; the dimensions are in inches and, as expressly provided for by EN 12735-1 in point 6.3.2, can be agreed between the manufacturer and the customer. SMISOL® Clim is also characterised by values of particularly low eccentricity , a very important feature for flaring operations.
The internal surface of the copper tube is shiny, clean, and dry —essential characteristics of a product commonly found on the market for industrial use. This unique feature allows for an integrated system with the terminal components of the system. The exceptional internal cleanliness of SMISOL® Clim is ensured by sealing the ends of each roll with caps, directly during the production phase.
Closed-cell expanded polyethylene coating with an average water vapor diffusion resistance factor “µ” greater than 15000. The insulating sheath is produced in full compliance with European Regulation EEC/EU 2037/2000 which requires the use of expanded insulating sheaths without the use of CFCs and HCFCs, gases harmful to health and the environment, and has a fire behavior of class BL-s1-d0 according to EN 13501-1.
Non-flammable coating
Fire resistance class BL-s1-d0 .
Expanded polyethylene coating
Closed cell structure with average value of the water vapour diffusion resistance factor µ > 15000 .
Produced in compliance with European Regulation EEC/EU 2037/2000 .
Inner surface of the copper tube
It appears shiny, clean and dry , essential qualities for industrial use.
Reduced eccentricity
Very low eccentricity values, ideal for ensuring perfect joints .
Perfect adhesion between sheath and tube
The production process guarantees total adhesion of the insulating sheath to the external wall of the copper pipe, avoiding the formation of cavities that would reduce the efficiency of the thermal insulation .
