  Construction
  
  Compact, handy, lightweight. Drive unit with short tubular arm weighing only 1.6 kg. Can be used anywhere, freehand, overhead, or in tight corners. Automatic locking ensures secure seating of pressing tongs.
  Divisible tubular arms for individual adjustment of the lever length to the pressing force required for different pressfitting systems.
  
  
  Pressing operation
  
  When the pressing tongs are completely closed, the perfect joint is complete. The pressing tongs remain closed until they are opened voluntarily. Visual inspection of proper pressing (pressing tongs fully closed) is therefore perfectly possible.
  
  
  Instructions for use
  
  All REMS pressing tongs with holes in the lower jaw area can be used with the REMS Eco-Press drive unit. The lever length of the drive unit can be adjusted directly at the workplace to suit the pressing force and available space. For extension, use the supplied tubular arms with sleeves. Before use, the tubular arms must always be screwed together and secured (risk of accident!). Secure the selected pressing tongs with the fastening bolt. Insert the press fitting and press the tubular arms into the end position "C". A perfect press joint is achieved only after the pressing tongs have been completely closed to "A" and "B".
  The correct functioning of the pressing tongs and the drive unit must be checked at least once a year by REMS or an authorised REMS service centre.
