Product information

Fully synthetic lubricating fluids based on synthetic and biodegradable polyesters ( POE ), these are specifically designed for use in refrigeration and air conditioning systems charged with alternative refrigerants that are not harmful to the ozone layer.

Product Features

  • Superior lubricity characteristics compared to traditional mineral-based lubricants.
  • Excellent anti-wear performance for steel and aluminum surfaces, allowing for extended life and efficiency of the lubricated system.
  • Chemically and thermally stable products, compatible with mineral oil or alkylbenzene residues that may remain in a system after replacement from refrigerants CFC or HFC.
  • Miscible with both mineral and synthetic based oils ( polyalphaolefins - PAO or polyesters - POE ), in case of mixing with lubricants of a different nature or viscosity the characteristics or performance of the product are obviously altered.
  • Anti-rust and anti-corrosion protection of metals, especially copper alloys.
  • Compatibility with paints, elastomers and varnishes.
  • Formulated with biodegradable bases and not hazardous to human health, to protect operators and the environment in the event of accidental spills.
  • The products are NOT compatible with polyalkylene glycol ( PAG ) based oils.

WARNINGS

These products are not recommended for ammonia systems (in this case we suggest mineral-based ones).

The products are hygroscopic, therefore they absorb environmental humidity and condensation. It is recommended to hermetically seal the packages after use and store them in a dry place at a temperature between -20°C and +40°C. If storing below -20°C, it is recommended to warm the product to above 20°C before use to eliminate any traces of humidity as much as possible.

Jobs

These lubricants are specifically used as the first fill of piston, rotary or centrifugal compressors in closed or semi-closed systems for domestic or industrial refrigeration and for automotive air conditioning systems.

  • ISO 22, 32, 46, 68: suggested use in piston compressors
  • ISO 68, 100, 120, 150, 170, 220: suggested use in screw or centrifugal compressors
  • ISO 80: Suggested use in electric compressors or systems requiring a dielectric compressor lubricant ( compliant with IEC 61099 specification )

They are also suitable for use in refrigeration and air conditioning systems charged with alternative, non-ozone-depleting refrigerants, such as R134a , R404a , R407c And R410a .

They can be used in systems that pass through refrigerants R12 , R22 , R505 to those that are not harmful to the ozone layer.
