NSC

The NSC 14L automatic water softener has a monoblock design. Like other home water softeners, North Star works by ion exchange and proportional volumetric countercurrent regeneration. The backlit display makes it easy to read even in basements or dimly lit areas. It uses up to 47% less salt and up to 50% less water than competing products. A water softener protects pipes, the boiler, and water-using appliances such as washing machines and coffee makers. It is ideal for households of 1 to 4 people (average water hardness 30°F).

The electronics are advanced and intelligent, retaining statistical data even in the event of a power outage. Furthermore, they allow the softener to be managed without any user intervention, based on actual water consumption and the forecast levels calculated by the software. Therefore, it automatically adjusts based on the user's actual consumption. The system can perform electrical self-diagnosis, track the days of operation and the total number of regenerations performed, and monitor the turbine and switches.
