If you already have a photovoltaic system at home, Powerflex Solar allows you to concentrate the water heating phase when the electricity produced by the panels exceeds the needs of the home's other electrical loads, increasing self-consumption and reducing grid draw. Thus, in addition to producing hot water and ensuring the desired level of comfort, Powerflex Solar also acts as a thermal energy storage system, effectively replacing electrochemical batteries.

Autonomous management of power peaks

Thanks to the integrated HOME+* power peak management function, Powerflex Solar can automatically adjust its power consumption or shut down based on your home network load to minimize the risk of unpleasant blackouts. If the electricity grid is overloaded due to the simultaneous operation of multiple devices, Powerflex Solar automatically reduces its energy consumption to bring power back within the limits established by the contract. Even after automatically shutting down when the peak is approaching, Powerflex Solar continues to communicate with your meter and notifies you via an audible alarm if you are at risk of an imminent blackout.
