  Daikin, a Japanese multinational and world leader in air conditioning and heating systems, as well as the entire cold chain in refrigeration, is launching its new D2C wall-mounted condensing boiler (short for "Daikin to Combustion" to underscore Daikin's entry into the combustion heating segment). The boiler will be presented for the first time to European professional customers at the ISH in Frankfurt (March 14-18, 2017). In Italy, it will be presented between February and April 2017.

  The new Daikin D2C condensing boiler has been launched, the first 100% Daikin boiler, entirely designed and manufactured by Daikin in its own facilities. The D2C boiler is available in a combi version for heating and instantaneous domestic hot water production, with a capacity of 24 kW.
  
  The new boiler stands out for its design and ultra-compact dimensions: 400 mm wide, 255 mm deep, and just 590 mm high, it weighs 27 kg. Unique in its flexibility of application, the Daikin D2C can be installed in any indoor or outdoor environment thanks to its high level of weather protection (IP X5D). The Daikin D2C can easily replace any existing boiler. Its 590 mm height ensures there is always plenty of free space underneath to reuse existing plumbing connections.
  
  Replacing your old boiler has never been easier! Thanks to its compact size and IPX5D protection rating, the Daikin D2C can be installed virtually anywhere.
  
  Its ultra-compact size makes it suitable for even the smallest apartments, where every centimeter saved is space gained, and its elegant shape looks great in the kitchen. Another distinctive element of the 100% Daikin design is the Daikin Eye: an elegant luminous eye that uses a multi-color LED to indicate the appliance's operating status.
  
  The Daikin D2C embodies the best of condensing technology. The SCOT combustion regulation system automatically adjusts to the quality of the gas used, whether natural gas or LPG, always ensuring clean combustion and minimal polluting emissions.
  
  Minimized size and weight are possible thanks to the innovative, high-capacity, patented Daikin air/flue gas exchanger. This is the heart of the new boiler.
  
  FUNCTIONS:
  
  Eco Mode: Return temperature control to optimize condensation. This function maximizes heating efficiency by targeting a return temperature of 35°C to maximize condensation.
  Warm Start: The DHW exchanger is already heated and ready for use. Warm Start reduces waiting times for domestic hot water. By keeping the plate exchanger warm and ready for use, the Daikin D2C always provides hot water immediately.
  Solar connection: Solar preheating of domestic hot water. If the water entering the boiler has been preheated by the solar system, the burner will not ignite, for optimal integration of the solar source.
  Daikin Eye is an elegant, luminous eye that uses a multi-color LED to indicate the appliance's operating status. In the event of a fault, the LED turns red and the error code is displayed. The easiest way to interact with your boiler!
