With its square lines, matte finish, and invisible cutouts for piping, the new SHORAI EDGE adapts perfectly to any type of interior. Toshiba's modulated power (inverter) technology allows SHORAI Edge to adjust its heating and cooling capacity at any time, adapting the compressor speed to the actual demand. The Wi-Fi module on all indoor units is invisible, thanks to the integrated wireless adapter. The Toshiba Home AC Control app offers total control of the functions that guarantee your comfort. Once installed on your smartphone or tablet, it is simple to use, both at home and on the go. The Toshiba remote control offers control functions, including presets such as power selection and the ECO function to reduce energy costs, the COMFORT SLEEP function to optimize room temperature at night, and the HIGH-POWER function to quickly heat or cool rooms. SHORAI Edge is an intuitive and extremely simple to use system. After automatically restarting, it memorizes the position of the ventilation blades, restoring the direction previously set by the user, reducing discomfort and optimizing comfort.
It automatically resumes operation after any blackout by starting the internal self-diagnosis function. The LEDs on the unit allow the user to see at a glance which functions are active. SHORAI Edge's functions are designed to help the user achieve ideal comfort and to achieve energy savings: * HADA CARE Adjusts the position of the ventilation flaps to generate an indirect flow, improving air distribution and uniforming the room temperature. * ULTRA PURE FILTER Toshiba's Ultra Pure filter can retain up to 94% of fine particulate matter (PM2.5), thus creating a healthier environment inside living spaces (1). * 3D AIRFLOW The unit activates the intelligent 3D airflow system, with independent ventilation flaps and 6 preset airflows, for unlimited comfort (only for sizes 18, 22 & 24). * QUIET OPERATION (outdoor unit) Toshiba's signature function reduces the noise level of the outdoor unit by 6dB(A), to ensure the comfort of your neighbors. * QUIET MODE (indoor unit) By pressing the FAN button, you can adjust the speed and set the Quiet operation mode, which ensures a reduced noise level. * WEEKLY TIMER The Weekly Timer allows you to set on and off intervals or program daily settings.
