PLASMA QUAD technology
PLASMA QUAD is one of the most advanced filtration systems on the market. The filter system eliminates 99% of viruses, bacteria, and mold in the air, 98% of allergens (e.g., pollen), 99.7% of dust mites and dust, and 99% of PM2.5 suspended in the air. PLASMA QUAD captures and eliminates odors.
How does it work?
The filter works like an electrical barrier capable of capturing and neutralizing suspended microscopic particles: by creating a high-potential electric field and then discharging it, this air filtration system captures and inactivates viruses and removes pollutants that pass through it.
Tested against SARS-CoV-2 viral activation
Tests conducted at the Microbial Testing laboratory Kobe Testing Center of QTEC – Japan Textile products Quality and Technology Center have demonstrated that PLASMA QUAD is able to successfully inactivate up to 99.8% of the coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2).
Connection
The optional MAC-100FT-E filter connects to the indoor unit via the CN105 connector, but allows other accessories to be connected to the air conditioner thanks to a second CN105 connector with which it is equipped.
