KME Smisol TekGas High Density Polyethylene Coated Copper Pipe, 25m, Diameter 22x1

SMISOL®Tekgas is the copper tube produced according to the EN 1057 standard, coated during the production phase with a special polyethylene sheath with a low density closed cell structure, manufactured in the sizes required by UNI 7129. Thanks to the particularity of the coating, continuously co-extruded on the copper tube, and to the presence of spacers wrapped in a helical direction with respect to the axis of the pipe, it is particularly suitable for the transport of liquid and gaseous fuels.

The spacers ensure that the sheath has an internal diameter 10 mm larger than the external diameter of the pipe. This geometric feature allows the pipe to be used to pass through walls and floors without the need for additional metal sheathing.

This pipe can be laid underground even in critical situations where the walls contain cavities (for example perforated bricks). This is always possible thanks to the polymer sheath that continuously wraps the copper pipe. Please remember that the sheath has an internal diameter 10 mm greater than the external diameter of the pipe that transports the combustible fluid. During installation, it is sufficient to drown SMISOL® Tekgas in 15 mm of cement mortar to comply with the provisions of UNI 7129-1:2015.
