General Features

SMISOL® Clim was born from close collaboration between manufacturer and customer, to meet the needs of a market increasingly attentive to technological solutions capable of fully satisfying the technical requirements of the air conditioning sector, maintaining an excellent quality/price ratio.

This copper tube is manufactured according to the EN 1057 standard, pre-insulated during production with expanded polyethylene with a closed-cell structure of regular and uniformly distributed dimensions. The insulating sheath is also protected externally by a special polyethylene film. Insulated according to Law 10/91 and its implementing decree (DPR412/93), for the distribution of the heat transfer fluid inside heated environments. The insulating sheath is produced in full compliance with European Regulation EEC/EU 2037/2000 which requires the use of expanded insulating sheaths without the use of CFCs and HCFCs, gases harmful to health and the environment.

Internal Protection

It presents proven bacteriostatic properties , which make it the ideal material for water and sanitation networks, in order to prevent bacterial proliferation such as Legionellosis. SMISOL® One complies with Ministerial Decree 174/04 (GU 166 of 17/07/04) which defines the conditions to which materials in contact with drinking water must respond.
It is subjected, during the production phase, to a Patented passivation and stabilization treatment of the internal wall makes it absolutely reliable in compliance with the potability parameters set by European legislation on transported drinking water (European Directive 2020/2184/EU). It has a carbon residue C <0.06 mg/dm2, much lower than that required by the EN 1057 standard, which establishes a carbon content C ≤0.20 mg/dm2.

External protection

The insulating sheath is made of closed-cell expanded PE compliant with EEC/EU Regulation 2037/2000 (free of CFCs and HCFCs) with a green polyethylene outer film and a corrugated surface. The coating has a fire rating of class BL-s1-d0 according to EN 13501-1.
