  • Characteristics

    Plenums are suitable for installing linear diffusers with different mounting options depending on the chosen type. The function of the plenum, or calming box, is to eliminate or reduce the non-uniformity of the air velocity profile coming from the supply duct. This ensures that the diffuser's discharge characteristics will conform to the expected ones, without asymmetries or directionality caused by unwanted velocity gradients.

General Features

  • The plenums for linear diffusers are constructed entirely of 10/10 thick galvanized steel, insulated with 6 mm thick class 1 self-extinguishing mat. The connections are fixed laterally in varying numbers depending on the length of the plenum. A fixing bar is placed inside to which the diffuser is secured with screws.
