General Features
EXTERNAL
Type A3 instantaneous gas water heater with front flue outlet, for installations without flue gas exhaust ducts
LOW NOx appliance in accordance with ErP directives. It can run on methane or LPG (with a special conversion kit).
Suitable for protected outdoor installations. It can operate at temperatures down to -20°C (equipped as standard with electrical resistances on the water circuit).
The appliance is supplied as standard with a remote timer control (and its connection cable), featuring a large interface display and simple control buttons, to make adjustments easy and intuitive.
Continuous modulation operation with dual temperature sensor control at the water inlet and outlet. Models 22 and 26 are equipped with a motorized shutter valve at the cold water inlet to improve the stability of the domestic hot water supplied.
Suitable for operation in combination with a solar thermal system
ECO FUNCTION
Using the remote control, you can activate the ECO function. During
when operating in ECO mode, the EXTERNO water heater will set
automatically sets the hot water outlet temperature to 42°C and a
reduced power equal to approximately 75% of the nominal power.
CHILD PROTECTION
If the hot water temperature is set to a very high value, each time the water heater is turned OFF, the delivery temperature will automatically return to 48°C so that the next withdrawal takes place in complete safety.
The EXTERNO water heater series does not have on-board controls. Control, setting, and regulating the DHW temperature are handled by a remote control supplied as standard, complete with connection cable.
The interface display and control buttons have been designed to make use of the control as simple and intuitive as possible. In the event of an anomaly and/or malfunction of the water heater, the display indication is accompanied by an audible signal.
