General Features
INFINITY 28i
The Infinity 28 Interno professional range is an instantaneous domestic hot water producer for indoor installation with electronic temperature management and water flow control. It features a corrosion-resistant enameled galvanized steel casing and comes standard with an electronic control unit with temperature management and self-diagnosis functions. Maximum operating temperature is 85°C.
Comfort and Economy
The new Rinnai Infinity 28i and 28e water heaters have the ability to manage an external circulator (optional) in domestic systems equipped with a domestic hot water recirculation loop, to immediately supply hot water to the place of use, according to two operating modes:
“Economy” (factory setting) which aims to achieve maximum consumption savings thanks to less frequent pump activation, at regular intervals of approximately 30 to 70 minutes.
“Comfort” which guarantees maximum well-being even in systems where poor insulation of the water circuit is assumed and therefore greater heat loss, with more frequent pump activation cycles, at intervals of approximately 15 to 30 minutes.
Antifreeze
Antifreeze system as standard (also on indoor appliances) up to -20°C.
Status Monitor and Control Panel
The Infinity 28 units are equipped with a status monitor on the front panel, which displays the operating temperature and fault codes. Up to four remote controls can be connected to the unit (one of which is already on the dashboard for the indoor model), offering the following options:
- temperature control directly from the room of use
- self-diagnosis
- additional functions with “de luxe” controls for bathroom and kitchen
Cascade connection
In addition to the previous cascade device management and control systems (REU-MSB-MB cards), the new Infinity 28 are equipped with a connector for connection to a Building Management System (REU-OPU) which allows for remote error signals.
