The new Ariston Nuos Evo water heater has been designed to heat large quantities of water while absorbing minimal energy consumption, reserving the right amount of heat from the outside air. In fact, in addition to being composed of a single indoor monoblock, there is also a split version with an outdoor unit.
Heat pump technology consists of a thermodynamic cycle to heat the water contained in the boiler through the air drawn in by the thermal unit by reversing the natural flow of heat. The R134A refrigerant gas then reverses the compression and expansion cycle, extracting the heat contained in the air at a lower temperature and transferring it to the sanitary water at a higher temperature.

From this research, the new NUOS heat pump water heaters were born: efficient and capable of heating a large quantity of water using very little electricity, as they absorb heat directly from the outside air.
The NUOS range of heat pump water heaters is available in both monoblock and split versions (i.e., with an external unit), for wall- or floor-mounted installation, and with capacities ranging from 80 to 300 liters. In new buildings, the NUOS range can also be used as an alternative to solar thermal energy as a renewable energy source.
New Evo A+
Compact and easy to install, the Nuos Evo A+ heat pump water heater offers high performance and reliability. Ariston's innovation and research have created a water heater that uses a natural and inexhaustible energy source: heat from the air, thus ensuring energy efficiency and savings. Nuos Evo is the ideal solution for those with limited space and allows for energy savings of at least 70% compared to a traditional electric boiler. The product is so efficient that it achieved energy class A+, the highest energy class that can be declared starting from September 2017.
Green Function
This feature maximizes energy savings. The water heater operates exclusively via heat pump, heating domestic water up to 62°C.
Boost function
This function minimizes water heater heating times, increasing comfort. The unit operates simultaneously with the heat pump and electric resistance, speeding up water heating. Once the heat pump's maximum operating temperature is exceeded, the electric resistance continues heating up to the water's set point temperature.
Auto Mode
This function provides the best balance between comfort and savings. The machine optimizes the heat pump and heating element activation logic.
Anti-legionella function
This function includes automatic disinfection cycles. Every month, the machine performs a check and, if necessary, heats the domestic water up to 65°C, maintaining it at that temperature until any bacterial growth in the tank has been destroyed.
Scheduling of withdrawal times
This function allows you to program the times and water temperatures to your liking. The water heater will reach the chosen temperature at the desired time (up to two times can be programmed). The process will prioritize heating via the heat pump and, only if necessary, will use the electric heating elements.
