NexAqua is Riello's solution, designed and optimized for domestic hot water production. The unit consists primarily of a mini heat pump and a boiler. The mini heat pump, housed directly in the upper part of the boiler, uses the thermal energy of the air, radiated by a boiler or other sources, to heat the water in the boiler, which has a capacity of 80 and 120 liters.
The air is drawn in by a centrifugal fan that allows the heat pump to operate in recirculation or for particular installation locations, through a duct with a diameter of up to 15 m (DN125).

NexAqua is Riello's solution, designed and optimized for domestic hot water production. The unit consists primarily of a mini heat pump and a boiler. The mini heat pump, housed directly in the upper part of the boiler, uses the thermal energy of the air, radiated by a boiler or other sources, to heat the water in the boiler, which has a capacity of 80 and 120 liters.
Air is drawn in by a centrifugal fan that allows the heat pump to operate in recirculation mode or for specific installation locations, through ducting up to 15 m in diameter (DN125). The recovered energy is transferred to the water by an external heat exchanger arranged circumferentially on the outside surface of the boiler, thus avoiding significant maintenance costs.
NexAqua's high efficiency is due to the use of an R134a refrigerant circuit and is capable of heating water up to 55°C. The boiler is equipped with two 1.0 kW electric heating elements as standard. The elements perform three main functions: backup heating, antifreeze, and emergency heating.
NexAqua allows 4 types of air connection:
- free-blow sending and receiving,
- outlet channelled towards the outside and return with free mouth,
- ducted supply to the outside and ducted return from adjacent rooms,
- ducted supply to the outside and ducted return from the outside.
The entire system is controlled and adjusted via a touch screen control.
NexAqua is available in 2 versions:
- NexAqua: models with 80 and 120 l boilers, heat pump operating range with air temperatures from 7 to 35°C
- NexAqua Plus: models with 80 and 120 l boilers, heat pump operating range with air temperatures from -7 to 35°C
- DHW production with temperatures up to 55°C
