PROFINE® SILVER is a disposable, quick-connect cartridge with filtration using “Profine® Carbon Block” technology added with silver ions; filtration degree 0.5 μm.
Activated carbon filter for dechlorination and clarification of drinking water.
Filtration allows the reduction of chlorine content, organic compounds, and unpleasant odors/flavors from the water.
Thanks to the presence of silver ions, the antibacterial action downstream of the treatment system is guaranteed.

The Profine® kit was designed and tested by simulating family use. The system underwent four months of intensive testing, including vacation periods ranging from one day to one month. The filtered water was subjected to multiple tests using chemical, physical, and microbiological analyses.
The Profine® kit worked flawlessly, so much so that it was awarded the prestigious Italian certification from the Institute for Hygienic Quality of Food Technologies (Tifq).
We are proud to present the results of the analyses carried out in the Tifq laboratories:
– the filter absorbs 90% of the chlorine present in the water,
– no bacteria were found, even after periods when the filter was not working due to holidays,
– after pauses of 30 and 60 days, the presence of Pseudomonas aeruginosa was not detected,
– the cartridge was able to treat 10,000 liters, continuing its performance.

WARNING: This equipment requires regular periodic maintenance to ensure the potability of the treated drinking water and to maintain the improvements declared by the manufacturer; use according to the user manual.
Using two integrated timers, the Profine® faucet monitors the litres of water dispensed and the time elapsed since the cartridge was installed, in accordance with Ministerial Decree 25/12.
When you open the faucet, the blue LED lights up to indicate that the filtration system is working, flashing to match the flow rate. Thanks to the proportional counting, when the cartridge has reached its maximum capacity or when a calendar year has passed since installation, the solid red LED will let you know it's time to refill.
