General Features

  • The multilayer tube is composed of a longitudinally butt-welded aluminum tube, equipped with an internal and external layer of polyethylene cross-linked by electron beams.
    The various layers are joined together with a high-quality adhesive layer, creating a multilayer tube that combines all the advantages of plastic and metal tubes.
    The inner and outer tube are produced with high density polyethylene granulates (HDPE) and subsequently cross-linked by electron beams (PE-XC).
    The cross-linking process significantly enhances the natural qualities of polyethylene, contributing, among other things, to the pipe's ability to better withstand temperature and pressure loads. The pipe meets the most stringent standards for plumbing installations and is resistant to aggressive substances.
    The aluminum tube guarantees oxygen impermeability and is non-deformable.
    Thanks to the longitudinal butt welding process, the aluminum maintains the same thickness throughout. Consequently, the cross-linked outer layer applied to the aluminum tube via the adhesive layer will also maintain the same thickness throughout, which also benefits pressing operations by perfectly distributing the pressing forces.
    Depending on the diameter of the tube, the thickness of the aluminum layer has been calculated in such a way that the tube will always maintain the best flexibility.
