TECHNICAL DATA SHEET

Product information

This type of valve is used in centralized heating systems to ensure a hot return to the boiler and thus allow a sufficiently high temperature to prevent vapor condensation along the flue; vapors, when combined with combustion products, can give rise to corrosive compounds that limit the boiler's life. MUT valves are supplied with manual control and can be easily motorized at any time by installing MUT Series M and Series V motors and/or motors marketed by control manufacturers. MUT valves consist of a cast iron body and an internal rotor. The rotor's rotation angle is approximately 90°.

General Features

  • MUT VALVES

This type of valve is used in central heating systems in order to
ensure a hot return to the boiler and therefore allow a sufficiently high thermal regime to avoid condensation
of the vapours along the chimney; vapours which, when combined with the products of combustion, can give rise to corrosive compounds which
limit the life of the boiler. MUT valves are supplied with manual control and at any time the valve can
be motorized without any difficulty by mounting the MUT M Series and V Series engines and/or engines marketed by the manufacturers that
They are used for regulation. MUT valves consist of a cast iron body and an internal rotor. The rotation angle of the
The rotor is approximately 90°. Mixing, with a linear characteristic of the supply and return water, is ensured by the profile of the shaped bush. This mixing occurs by means of a circular sector rotor in the VDM and VDF models, while
This is butterfly in VM and VF model.

The valve must be installed in the hydraulic circuit respecting the flow direction specified on the valve label. The expansion vessel
The system's flow must be upstream of the valve; the pump can be mounted either on the radiator flow or the radiator return. The boiler's flow path must be chosen so that when the indicator is close to "0," the flow of hot water to the system is reduced.
