The FAR zone valve was designed and manufactured to make centralized heating systems in new and old buildings with a horizontal distribution circuit autonomous and to supply multiple zones within a residential unit.
The zone valve, controlled by a servocontrol connected to a room thermostat with an ON-OFF function, allows you to regulate the temperature in the rooms. FAR produces various types of servocontrols in 24V and 230V voltages, with and without manual release, all equipped with an auxiliary microswitch. It is clear that zone valves can control the temperature of an entire property or a portion of it, for example, the living area, sleeping area, study area, or basement area, while maintaining a single boiler for heat production.
Two-way valves, like three-way and three-way by-pass valves, are full-bore, meaning they have no internal deviations or sudden changes in cross-section, which means very low pressure drops. The zone valve features an internal anti-blocking system that prevents the ball from blocking even in the worst operating conditions, a significant problem in this type of component when limescale deposits build up on the ball itself. The system consists of two O-rings supporting two PTFE seats. The O-rings keep the seats in contact with the ball and act as "shock absorbers" so rotation is guaranteed even after long periods of inactivity. The two-way valve with direct passage, art. 3015, is the universal valve applicable in any situation. It is available with male-male connections.
male-female and female-female.
The servocontrol opens or closes the fluid passage based on the signals received from the
Thermostat. The motor can be installed on the valve in two different positions without any difference, as the 90° movement transmitted to the valve always remains the same.
