SKUDO DC



SKUDO is the 13 cm thick hydronic terminal with a high-efficiency exchange battery with a tangential fan unit with a DC Inverter motor featuring extremely silent operation, with an autonomous on-board digital regulation system (standard or Modbus (optional)) complete with a load-bearing structure and casing in white steel, complete with a condensation collection tray for vertical and horizontal installation, and a removable fine-mesh filter.

Each unit is equipped with:

• Brushless modulating fans with permanent magnets and inverters, for indoor use
  continuous, energy-saving and low noise.
• Cross-flow tangential fan with asymmetric blades, the most advanced technology
  silent on the market.
• Electronic control with continuous modulation of the ventilation speed, for
  maximum energy efficiency.
• The “RADIANTore” technology delivers heat or cooling with minimal or no air movement, resulting in unparalleled acoustic performance.
• Advanced climate control, with the option of remote control, via remote control or integration into home automation systems via the Modbus connection (optional).

The following functions are available:

• Super-silence mode, for high heat output and extremely low noise levels.
• “Radiator” technology in heating and cooling, for gentle thermal emission while minimizing air movement.
• Key lock for public buildings, for the safety of the building supervisor.
  
  
  Each individual Skudo allows you to set the desired temperature value on the dedicated panel, so that the electronic control regulates the operation of the thermal device according to a logic that optimizes the balance between energy efficiency and climate comfort.

Each Skudo will be able to operate at a different temperature.

It is possible to set the desired temperature for each Skudo in a specific room, so that, for example, it is possible to have more or less warm rooms in the winter, and perhaps a few degrees cooler in the living room.
Or, just as conveniently, it will be possible to manually set the desired power, perhaps to obtain maximum dehumidifying power in a certain room in summer operation.

Skudo is available with an on-board electronic PCB module with Modbus technology, which allows Skudo to be integrated into the most advanced air conditioning and BMS systems.

SKUDO RADIANTors are designed for:

• Heat, cool and dehumidify environments.
• Deliver power with high efficiency at high as well as low flow temperatures (excellent for heat pump systems).
• Allowing you to transform a traditional radiator system into a hot/cold air conditioning system (especially in combination with a heat pump).
• Compatible with both traditional boilers, as well as condensing boilers, solar systems and heat pumps.
• They can be installed even in the quietest environments (bedrooms, residential environments in general), thanks to the silence of the DC Inverter motor combined with the tangential fan and the radiant effect.
• Can be combined with built-in daily/weekly timers for activation and deactivation, as well as with BMS (Building Management System) or home automation systems in Modbus protocol.
• SKUDO can be connected to the plumbing system using the two- or three-way thermostatic connection kits with by-pass.
• SKUDO hydronic terminals can be installed both horizontally and vertically on the ceiling.
